Welcome to Missouri Valley Chapter - SNM

The MVCSNM is a regional chapter of the professional association that represents individuals associated with Nuclear Medicine. The Chapter sponsors a Fall meeting each year at which the nuclear medicine professional may learn about the newest innovation in the field and obtain continuing education. The Chapter also acts as a liaison with the SNM, which is the national professional society. exdir@mvcsnm.org

NMAAGraduates

The first class of Nuclear Medicine Advanced Associate (NMAA) students graduated in May of this year. During the SNM Annual Meeting in June, the graduates sat for their board exams.

It is with great pleasure that we can announce that all four graduates passed their board exams.

One of these graduates is from our chapter and is a past president of the MVC Technologist Section.

The MVC would like to congratulate all the graduates, but especially our own Richard Siska! Great job! Please join us in congratulating him on this accomplishment. He is one of only four NMAA in the United States. Quite an accomplishment.

Running Projects

Welome to the new MVC website. This is just a starting point. We plan on adding other enhancements as time progresses. Keep an eye out for them.

The Missouri Valley Chapter is proud to announce the addition of Mark Wallenmeyer, MBA, CNMT, RT(N) as the new Executive Director of our Chapter.

Mr. Wallenmeyer brings many years of experience to the position with leadership experience at the local, chapter and national level of the Society of Nuclear Medicine. Mark has served as President of all three, and is currently finishing up his year as Immediate Past-President of the SNM - Technologist Section. Mark has a proven track record of direction and leadership. Mark is currently reviewing the documents associated with the MVC, speaking with the Chapter officers, Chapter Executive Council and Chapter leaders to get a handle on the current status of the Missouri Valley Chapter.

We look forward to working with Mr. Wallenmeyer and the expertise he brings to this position.
